Software for water management

The use of specialized water resources simulation models and tools of hydroinformatics has become an integral part of consulting and project activities. These activities are manly focused on solving the following water management issues:

-Drainage of urban areas, simulation of unsteady rainfall-runoff process, hydraulics of structures, an effect of wastewater discharges on receiving waters.

- Drinking water distribution systems, hydraulics, quality of drinking in water supply systems.

- Flow in rivers and inundation areas, flood studies, flood lines, risk analysis, design and assessment of technical flood protection measures.

- Hydraulics of wastewater treatment plants, hydraulic of structures. 

Significant support offers the programs such as WINPLAN that effectively increase design activities. WINPLAN was the first of Czech language working system of programs for designing water supply and sewerage systems on Windows platform, facilitating and streamlining the design work. Its form and content is primarily aimed at designers. It can be used by both a large project consultaning companies and small firms or individual designers to design and analyze.
