Sweco Hydroprojekt has succeeded with its proposal within the B2B program announced by the Czech Development Agency

Within the Programme of Partnership Development Framework, Sweco Hydroprojekt has received a grant from the Czech Development Agency in order to support a foreign development partnership projects in 2019 which represents a significant strengthening of our business environment in Syria.

The main aim of the company is to contribute in solving Syria's specific water management problems and transfer its know-how in order to improve the development partnership between Czech Republic and Syria.

The main outcome of the assignment is feasibility study assessing the provision of sustainable restoration of water management in the war’s devastated region of Eastern Ghouta, in particular assessing the supply of drinking water to the people affected by war conflicts. The study will also make it possible to consider, in a greater detail, the future investments in the area often plagued by war conflicts, hostile conditions and poverty in order to improve the current situation in water management.
